Helping women 45+ regain their lives after divorce

HEART

Knowing something had to change… that was your first step.

Even when the way forward feels impossible to see, it’s still there… and you don’t have to walk it alone.

My journey to finding myself again...

People often say that after divorce you should “become the best version of yourself”.

But that never felt true for me.

I didn’t wake up wanting to transform my life. I wasn’t inspired, and I definitely wasn’t ready.

I was exhausted, heartbroken and simply trying to survive.

And for most of my life, I genuinely believed that survival mode was normal. I didn’t realise how disconnected I was from myself, because I had never known anything different.

Like many women, I dreamed of feeling different — calmer, more confident, more at peace. But deep down, I never felt good enough to believe those dreams could be mine.

And looking back now, I can see that so much of that “not enoughness” came long before I realised it.

Years of heartbreak, disappointment and trying to hold everything together after two divorces had quietly chipped away at me… but I never stopped long enough to feel any of it.

Losing Darron changed that.

His death shattered me in a way nothing else had.

And for the first time in my life, I couldn’t outrun how I really felt.

And then COVID happened.

The world stopped.

My distractions stopped.

My ability to stay busy… gone.

And in that stillness, I had no choice but to sit with myself — the real me, the hurting me, the me I had avoided for years.

That’s when I opened my journal.

Page after page, I found a woman who was quietly breaking.

A woman who felt unworthy, overwhelmed and completely lost.

A woman who didn’t know how to go on.

And the part that broke me most was realising that woman was me.

That moment of awareness — painful, honest and impossible to ignore — became the turning point.

Not because I suddenly felt brave, but because I finally understood the depth of my own pain.

And once you see yourself clearly, you realise you have a choice:

stay where you are, or try — gently — to find another way.

My healing didn’t come from becoming someone new.

It came from reconnecting with the woman I had always been, but had lost under years of self-doubt, anxiety, heartbreak and survival.

And yes, through that reconnection, I did become a different version of myself — a calmer, clearer, more confident version who finally feels enough.

Today, I’m grounded.

I’m at peace.

And I trust myself in ways I never thought possible.

This is why I help women 45+ after divorce.

Because whether your breaking point was divorce, grief, exhaustion or years of quiet survival, I know exactly what it feels like to lose yourself — and how life-changing it is when you finally find your way back.

SOUL

Why I created Quietly Confident Women™

Quiet confidence isn’t loud, forceful or performative.

It’s the calm, grounded trust that comes from knowing who you are and believing in your worth — without seeking approval from anyone else.

Quietly Confident Women™ was created to give women a space to reconnect with themselves after divorce — whether it happened recently or many years ago.

A space where confidence is rebuilt gently. Where shame is released.

Where self-trust is restored.

And where you can finally feel at home within yourself again.

This work is not about fixing you. You don’t need fixing.

It’s about supporting you as you return to yourself.

HAIR

Where beauty meets healing

I’ve spent over 25 years in the hair and beauty industry — starting behind the chair, then moving into education where I trained teams and hairdressers all over the world.

Over those years, I realised something powerful… women weren’t only wanting to look beautiful.

They were longing to feel beautiful, confident and whole on the inside too.

Quiet Mirror Moments™ was born from that truth.

The realisation that my work in hair and my work in mentoring were never separate.

They had always been connected.

I had spent decades helping women feel confident on the outside, and now my purpose is to help them feel grounded, worthy and at home within themselves too.

A few years ago, I opened The Quietly Confident Women Home Salon — a space where both worlds finally meet.

A place where beauty and healing sit side by side, reminding women that true confidence begins the moment they see themselves clearly…

Inside and out.

SELF

The QC Method™

A gentle, holistic way of rebuilding confidence after divorce

After years of trying to hold everything together, most women I work with tell me the same thing — they don’t know who they are anymore.

They’ve spent so long surviving, pleasing, coping, or carrying everyone else that they drifted away from their own needs, their own voice, their own truth.

This is where the QC Method™ begins — with YOU.

Rebuilding your life after divorce isn’t about pushing yourself, forcing change, or pretending to be strong before you feel ready.

It’s about understanding yourself.

Trusting yourself.

And finding a calm, steady way forward that actually feels doable.

That’s why I created The QC Method™ — my holistic four-phase methodology that guides women through meaningful, lasting change without overwhelm.

This isn’t about becoming someone new…

It’s about reconnecting with the woman you lost along the way.

PHASE 1

Clarity

Seeing yourself and your life with fresh eyes.

Finding calm, understanding your patterns, rebuilding your confidence and rediscovering who you are beneath the noise, the labels and the expectations.

PHASE 2

Choice

Letting go of the beliefs, habits and stories that have held you back.

Creating small, powerful shifts that open the door to self-trust, possibility and freedom.

PHASE 3

Courage

Learning to navigate fear, rebuild resilience, and trust your own voice again.

Not through pressure or perfection… but through compassion, honesty and tiny brave steps.

PHASE 4

Connection

Coming home to your intuition, your purpose and the woman you truly are.

This is where everything integrates — your energy, your values, your direction — so your inner world finally starts matching the life you want to create.

PEACE

The woman I am when the world is quiet

Since beginning my own healing, I’ve realised just how important my peace of mind truly is.

I find it in the simplest moments — walking in nature, feeling the fresh air on my face, a quiet morning with my coffee, or giving myself permission to enjoy silence without rushing.

I love creating beautiful things.

A calm, organised home where everything has its place.

Peaceful spaces that feel soothing the moment you walk into them.

Cooking for special people.

Being outside with my dogs (even if it doesn’t always go perfectly).

These are the moments that bring me back to myself.

And while my healing continues — because it always does — I’m proud of the woman I am today.

I’m more open to change, more open to new perspectives, and far kinder to myself.

Bad days don’t mean I’m failing… they’re simply part of being human.

The difference now is that I have the tools to move through them with clarity and compassion.

PATH

How We Can Walk This Path Together

I don’t believe in pushing, convincing or overwhelming you with options.

Your journey back to yourself deserves to unfold gently… at your pace, in your way.

If something in my story, my approach or my energy has resonated with you, and you're wondering what the next step could look like.

I’ve created a simple pathway that guides you through your journey from the very first gentle step, right through to deeper support when you’re ready.

It’s calm.

It’s clear.

And it’s designed to meet you exactly where you are.

You can explore the full pathway here:
