PRESENCE
Meeting yourself without judgement.
There was a time when I didn’t meet myself this way at all.
Like so many women, I learned to keep going.
To hold everything together.
To strive, improve, and cope.
Looking back, I can see how much judgement lived quietly beneath the surface.
Not because I was unkind, but because I didn’t know another way.
It took life unravelling for me to begin meeting myself differently.
Not with answers.
Not with confidence.
But with honesty.
This is what presence means to me now. Not perfection. Not having it figured out.
Just being willing to meet yourself as you are, without judgement.
Long before Quiet Mirror Moments™
There was a long time when I didn’t have language for what was happening inside me.
Quietly Confident Women™ - About Deborah Blignaut
From the outside, my life looked polished.
I built a successful career in the hair and beauty industry.
I worked with some of the biggest brands in the world.
I lived in a world of mirrors, glamour, transformation, and perfection.
And for a long time, that felt normal.
What I didn’t see then was how much of my life was being lived in survival mode.
How much striving, self-criticism, and quiet pressure sat beneath the surface. How often I held myself together while unravelling privately.
I cried in bathrooms.
I silenced my own inner critic by staying busy.
I told myself this was just life.
It wasn’t until my own life fell apart that I was forced to stop running.
Losing Darron.
Hitting rock bottom.
Then Covid, and being left alone with myself in a way I never had been before.
That stillness changed everything.
With the support of my mentor, and later working alongside a trauma therapist, I began to see something I had never recognised before.
I wasn’t broken.
I wasn’t failing.
I was disconnected from myself.
I hadn’t known that disconnection was even a thing. I hadn’t known survival mode had a name. I hadn’t known there was another way to live.
And once I could see it in myself, I began to see it everywhere.
CLARITY
Seeing yourself clearly changes everything.
Quietly Confident Women™ was born through my own reconnection with myself, and through becoming a double-certified life coach.
I wanted to understand what was really happening beneath the surface.
The psychology behind our thoughts.
How beliefs shape behaviour.
Why self-doubt becomes so deeply ingrained, even in capable, successful women.
Through my own journey, it became clear that confidence isn’t something we apply on top of ourselves.
It’s something that returns when we feel safe enough to come home to who we are.
That understanding is why my work brings together both worlds.
Not only helping women look beautiful and confident on the outside, but supporting how they feel about themselves on the inside.
Because the inner work changes the way a woman sees herself.
And the outer expression simply follows.

The woman behind the work
Outside of my work, I’m grounded by simple, everyday things.
Hair, beauty, fashion, and creating spaces that feel calm and beautiful have always mattered to me, not as perfection, but as expression.
I love cooking, walking in nature, and reading books that help me grow and understand myself more deeply.
My dogs are my constant companions and quiet support system.
They bring me back into the moment in ways nothing else quite does.
These are the things that keep me connected, balanced, and present.
